LIFE EVANGELISM INTERNATIONAL received a generous donation of 173 blankets from a private donor.
These blankets were then handed out by us at LEI to the underprivileged and homeless here in South Africa. They were given out to various different groups that are living in long grassy fields in Pretoria with no shelter, and also to those who lived near /or on the rubbish dump in Modimolle and various other small township areas.
All the people we gave to were really excited to each receive a blanket and were really grateful! That day we also handed out food to each group waiting in line. Many thanks go out to both Woolworth’s supermarket and Spurs Restaurant for their help in reaching out to the destitute here in South Africa.
We also gave out the blankets to many old women that lived in the fields and were trying to make some money by selling clay pots at the side of the road. There was also quite a number of blind people in Pretoria that were begging on the side of the roads and city streets that we gave to.
