Over the past few months LEI Trust has handed out up to 40 huge rubbish sacks full of good quality 2nd hand clothing to the poor and destitute here in South Africa, many of which still live outside with no shelter in the long grassy fields.
Many of these people are fleeing refugees seeking asylum from other countries, and have no money or any place else to go.
In all the towns that we have given out to, the clothing was received with thankful and open arms. One of the owns we gave out many bags too is a town called Ladybrand ( on the border of South Africa and Lesotho). All clothing was gratefully received, as their winters can get so cold because of the mountainous terrain it can some times reach as low as -14 degrees .
